Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I do feel it necessary to give answer to your comments. Firstly let me point out that your booking was made on the understanding that as per our terms and conditions of booking a minimum stay of 2 nights was required in order to make the reservation. You chose to book and therefore accept two nights minimum stay. Your booking was made two weeks before your stay, ie last minute. You booked for two nights for the busiest week of our season. Perhaps if you are seeking a stay with fewer people maybe avoid major events such as Alpe d' HuZes, the Marmotte or the Tour de France. Your space was honoured and kept for both the first AND the second night of your trip. You arrived late in the evening, I was there to show you into your space. You arrived at a time when the whole campsite of clients had arrived back at the site following the event therefore the shower block was busier than normal. Had you not have booked you would most definitely have found yourselves without any pitch at all. I do not feel it necessary to offer a refund when it is the clients decision to not come for a night. As said, your space was kept. I feel I have now given an explanation for your negative comments. Fortunately the majority of our guests enjoyed their stay with us and understood the necessity of accepting as many people as possible ensuring the success of the event. I am satisfied that other guests who stayed with us for the duration of the event found our standard of cleanliness and service good to excellent. Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Just to clarify that it is clearly stated that there is no electricity on the paddocks so all guests are aware at booking that this option is not available. We do offer wifi from around reception free of charge, inviting guests to use picnic benches in the covered area outside reception to catch up on their online requirements. I do understand about the electricity however we only use the paddocks when we have a very big event such as Alpe d'HuZes and the Tour de France, the rest of the time we have the nain site only. Thanks for leaving your review. We are pleased to have been able to offer you a fully serviced pitch with some privacy during peak season, especially as your request to stay was very last minute during the busiest part of the year. I hope your two dogs enjoyed their stay at no extra charge. Re our facilities, as a two star camping our facilities are officially more than enough to cover the number of emplacements we cater for. We also offer a fresh bread delivery service 7 days a week which adds to our personal reception service. Kindest wishes,
